Customers wait for a slow page, and some leave. Deloitte studied shop websites. A tenth of a second faster meant 8% more buyers.

What does one visit cost my customers in data?

On our sites, about 3c with a 1GB bundle at R79. A typical Johannesburg florist site costs about 12c.

Our sites have no login page and no database. So there is much less to break into. Cloudflare protects every site we build.

What one visit to your website costs your customer

Your customers pay for every visit with their data. A big page costs them more.

Here is an example. A 1GB bundle costs R79 on MTN. Our old demo site used about 27 MB a visit. That cost a customer about R2. With no bundle left, it cost about R7.60.

Our new site uses less data than one song. One visit costs under 1c.

Google’s own test asks for a whole page under about 1.6 MB. A single photo from a phone can be bigger than that.

So make your pictures smaller before they go on your site. Or ask us to check your site for you.
